- • Own and drive the 0 to 1 strategy for Harvey’s legal operations platform, defining how in-house legal teams configure, govern, and evaluate relationships with outside firms and vendors using AI-native tooling.
- • Define the end-to-end product roadmap for the legal operations platform, aligning features with enterprise strategy to enable procurement-led and compliance-driven adoption by large legal departments.
- • Lead execution of product features from discovery through launch, partnering closely with engineering to maintain a fast shipping cadence while upholding a high-quality bar for enterprise-grade functionality.
- • Collaborate directly with enterprise customers and customer success teams to deeply understand current workflows for managing outside counsel and vendors, translating insights into actionable product requirements that drive scale.
- • Partner with go-to-market, partnerships, and legal engineering teams to ensure the platform is effectively positioned, enabled, and deployed for sales and customer onboarding.
- • Establish and monitor success metrics that quantify the platform’s impact on legal department efficiency, compliance, and vendor performance, using data to continuously prioritize iterations.
- • Build and evolve platform capabilities that serve as the system of intelligence for professional legal work, enabling visibility, control, and governance over AI-driven legal operations.
- • Work at the intersection of platform, product, and partnerships to design extensible features including APIs, integrations, and data partnerships that expand Harvey’s ecosystem.
- • Ensure all product features meet rigorous security, compliance, and access control standards required for handling sensitive legal data in enterprise environments.
- • Communicate product vision and priorities clearly to cross-functional stakeholders, including engineers, designers, executives, and external partners, driving alignment across teams.
- • Thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments by creating clarity from complexity and making decisive product trade-offs without perfect information.
- • Maintain a relentless focus on simplicity and operational excellence, ensuring the platform delivers intuitive, scalable experiences for General Counsel and legal operations leaders.
- • Champion the company values of Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job’s Not Finished by acting with urgency, eliminating unnecessary complexity, and refusing to settle for suboptimal outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years at a Staff or Senior PM level at a high-growth technology company.
- • Proven track record of owning and scaling complex platform or infrastructure products, ideally in enterprise SaaS, document management, knowledge management, or data-intensive domains.
- • Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage deeply with engineering on system design, distributed systems, data pipelines, and retrieval architectures.
- • Experience building products that handle sensitive data with robust security, compliance, and access control requirements.
- • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels, from engineers to executives.
- • Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and drive clarity through complexity.
