- • Define and evolve a multi-year product vision for NerdWallet’s Native App, focusing on how users connect financial accounts, analyze data, monitor trends, and receive timely recommendations to improve their financial outcomes.
- • Lead the transition of the Native App team from traditional product development to an AI-native workflow, incorporating AI-generated code for deployment and testing, and leveraging AI to enhance personalization, recommendations, and decision-making for users.
- • Translate ambiguity into clear, actionable product strategies by identifying high-impact opportunities and guiding cross-functional teams from discovery through launch and iterative improvement.
- • Drive measurable customer and business outcomes by using data, experimentation, and customer insights to improve activation, engagement, retention, and long-term value while maintaining strict focus on trust and compliance.
- • Build and scale secure, reliable, and compliant financial systems by partnering with engineering, compliance, risk, and operations teams to develop account linking and money movement capabilities that meet regulatory standards.
- • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external financial partners to navigate tradeoffs between speed, reliability, risk, and user experience in a highly regulated financial environment.
- • Mentor and influence other product managers and cross-functional teams to elevate product thinking, decision-making, and execution quality across the organization.
- • Own the long-term success of the product by setting strategic priorities, aligning teams around outcomes, and maintaining accountability for both consumer impact and business performance.
- • Use data-informed approaches to evaluate product performance, including experimentation, KPI tracking, and analytical rigor to validate hypotheses and guide roadmap decisions.
- • Operate with a high degree of autonomy in complex, constraint-heavy environments, making decisions under uncertainty while balancing consumer needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.
- • Shape product strategy that integrates financial data, behavioral insights, and AI capabilities to deliver trusted, scalable, and personalized financial tools for millions of users.
- • Ensure product initiatives uphold NerdWallet’s mission of bringing clarity to financial decisions and empowering users to move forward with confidence.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional product initiatives from concept to measurable impact
- • Proven track record in building or contributing to financial products involving account linking, money movement, or similar capabilities
- • Ability to define product vision and strategy and translate it into clear execution priorities and outcomes
- • Experience navigating ambiguous or constraint-heavy environments, such as regulated financial industries or large-scale systems
- • Strong collaboration skills with engineering, design, data, compliance, and business teams
- • Analytical mindset with expertise in data-informed decision-making, experimentation, and performance tracking
