  • • As a Staff Product Manager at Perk, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing how modern businesses manage their travel and spend. Your primary mission is to dismantle the traditional silos between travel and expense management, forging a single, cohesive, and exceptionally smooth user experience. This is not about making minor adjustments; it's about architecting an end-to-end solution that eliminates friction and complexity from the initial budgeting and approval stages through to seamless submission, payment processing, and automated reconciliation.
  • • You will own a critical strategic area within our Travel&Spend product, with a direct mandate to drive significant growth for our Spend product. This role is designed for a proactive and visionary builder who thrives in environments characterized by ambiguity and the opportunity to define new paths. You will be instrumental in deeply researching unmet user needs, identifying key opportunities for innovation, and orchestrating the execution of your product vision across multiple product squads.
  • • Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of strategic and tactical product management activities. You will be expected to dive deep into user data and feedback to pinpoint the most impactful areas for improvement and innovation. The insights you gather will be crucial in shaping actionable strategies that deliver tangible value to our customers and the business.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves effectively communicating your product vision. You will articulate the “why” and “where” of your product initiatives with clarity and conviction, ensuring your product team remains inspired and motivated, and that all stakeholders are consistently aligned with the strategic direction.
  • • You will be responsible for defining clear, strategic plans to address the most pressing problems. This includes articulating the rationale behind tackling specific challenges, outlining the proposed solutions, and establishing measurable metrics for success. Your strategic foresight will guide the development efforts and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • • Collaboration and execution are paramount. You will work hand-in-hand with engineering, design, and other critical functions, including Implementation, Sales Engineering, and Account Management teams. Your ability to foster strong cross-functional partnerships will be essential in bringing your strategies to life and delivering value incrementally, ensuring continuous progress and adaptation.
  • • You will serve as the primary subject matter expert for your product area. This involves providing timely answers to queries, developing comprehensive training materials for internal teams, and ensuring that all product documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
  • • Leading with a servant-leadership approach, you will empower your product team. Your focus will be on helping the team maintain focus on key objectives, proactively removing obstacles and distractions, and cultivating an environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and robust collaboration.
  • • Beyond your immediate team, you will play a vital role in elevating the entire product function at Perk. This involves a commitment to continuous learning, actively sharing insights and best practices with your colleagues, and contributing to the development of a world-class product organization.
  • • This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex challenges, balance competing priorities and risks, and develop thoughtful, data-backed plans. You will be expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of user experience principles, creating customer-facing products that are not only intuitive but also highly impactful.
  • • As a Staff Product Manager, you will be a key driver in shaping the future of business travel and spend management, directly contributing to Perk's mission of eliminating shadow work and empowering businesses to focus on what truly matters.
