đź“‹ Description
- • As the Staff Product Manager for Workflow Manager at Ironclad, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing how businesses manage their legal agreements. You will own and drive the vision, strategy, and execution for our core workflow management capabilities, including the sophisticated Workflow Designer, global configurations, and the integration of cutting-edge AI into these processes. This is a pivotal role that directly impacts our customers' ability to streamline complex legal operations, reduce operational overhead, and unlock significant value, particularly for our enterprise clients.
- • Your primary focus will be on empowering our customers, especially those managing a high volume of workflows and intricate configurations, to build, manage, and optimize their legal processes with unprecedented ease and efficiency. You will delve deep into understanding the nuances of centralized and distributed administration models, translating these insights into requirements for robust, scalable global configuration tools.
- • A key aspect of this role involves leading the strategic evolution of our configuration system. You will guide the transition from per-workflow specific settings to a normalized, reusable global configuration framework. This includes defining the data modeling, establishing effective evaluation strategies, and orchestrating the migration from legacy object types within our existing workflow engine.
- • You will be instrumental in leveraging agentic AI to enhance our workflow capabilities. This involves not only configuring new, intelligent workflows for users but also utilizing AI to proactively monitor and maintain the integrity and performance of existing workflows, ensuring they remain optimized and error-free.
- • Collaboration is paramount. You will establish a shared product vision across the company, building consensus on priorities and the product roadmap with critical teams such as Core Applications, IAM/PBAC, Platform Foundations, and others that rely on conditions for access control, policy enforcement, and workflow logic. Your ability to influence and align stakeholders will be crucial for the success of these shared global objects.
- • A significant challenge and opportunity will be designing and implementing data cleanup and migration tooling. This will enable existing customers to safely identify and consolidate duplicative conditions into standardized global configurations, ensuring a seamless transition without disrupting live or in-progress workflows.
- • You will own the entire product lifecycle for the Workflow Designer, from initial rollout and early access programs (EAP) through to General Availability (GA). This involves close collaboration with the Customer Outcomes and Solutions teams to identify target customers, define success criteria, and develop comprehensive adoption playbooks for both new and existing users.
- • Defining and analyzing key product metrics will be central to your role. You will establish and track metrics such as workflow designer adoption rates, the percentage of customers leveraging common building block components, and the efficiency gains achieved in workflow setup. This data-driven approach will inform product prioritization and strategic decision-making.
- • You will be expected to possess exceptional product sense and strategic thinking, adeptly balancing long-term platform investments—such as normalization, versioning, and migration strategies—with immediate usability improvements for both the Workflow Designer and policy surfaces.
- • Your detail-oriented mindset will be essential for navigating complexity. You will be comfortable diving deep into the intricacies of advanced user needs, edge cases, and sophisticated logic- and workflow-based systems. A keen eye for system-level thinking and the ability to untangle complex dependencies within configuration models, condition builders, formula languages, and workflow engine components are vital.
- • Technical inquisitiveness is highly valued. You should be willing to explore technical details, ask insightful questions of the engineering team, understand complex architectures, and effectively bridge technical realities with product goals.
- • Ultimately, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of contract management by delivering a powerful, intuitive, and intelligent workflow solution that empowers legal and operations teams to transform their agreements into strategic assets.
