- • As a Staff Runtime Systems Engineer at d-Matrix Corporation, you will play a critical role in advancing the company’s AI compute platform by developing runtime firmware and systems software for in-memory compute architectures designed for AI inference in datacenters. Your work will directly impact the performance, efficiency, and reliability of d-Matrix’s silicon product, enabling breakthroughs in generative AI acceleration.
- • Day to day, you will architect, implement, and validate runtime firmware executing on multi-core CPU subsystems within a system-on-a-chip (SoC), debug complex systems software issues, collaborate with hardware and verification teams to ensure functional correctness, and maintain adherence to coding standards and delivery schedules. You will also contribute to the design and development of low-level drivers and systems software that host the SoC in distributed, scale-out AI inference environments.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s in computer engineering or electrical engineering with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience in embedded software development
- • Proficiency in C/C++
- • Experience with Linux system-level programming and strong knowledge in Linux device drivers
- • Experience working with containers and VMs
- • Experience working with Python is desired
