- • Lead the technical design, architecture, and delivery of ShareGate’s new Backup feature, a first-of-its-kind capability in the migration space, ensuring scalability, security, and long-term maintainability for enterprise customers.
- • Own the end-to-end technical vision for the Backup product, including defining specifications, driving agentic AI-assisted development, reviewing code, and solving complex technical challenges in a .NET (C#) environment with minimal meeting load and deep work focus.
- • Join Workleap, a Montreal-based tech company serving over 20,000 customers globally through its Workleap Platform (AI-powered HR) and ShareGate (Microsoft 365 migration and governance), where you’ll build the inaugural engineering team for this strategic feature area.
- • Shape the long-term team structure by participating in hiring, onboarding, and mentoring developers, while influencing technical practices across ShareGate’s engineering organization as a visible technical leader and advocate for scalable design.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of software development experience, with significant experience in technical leadership roles.
- • Advanced proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem, including familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, React, and hybrid/desktop application environments.
- • Hands-on experience with agentic development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot Agents) and comfort integrating them into daily workflows.
- • Proven technical leadership in large-scale enterprise system development, from design to delivery, with strong user experience awareness and customer empathy.
- • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, Teams) and experience with SaaS security and compliance practices.
- • Excellent communication and influence skills, capable of aligning technical and non-technical stakeholders, collaborating with Product and Design, and mentoring fellow developers.
