- • Develop and maintain a high-performance digital platform that streamlines post-acute care by replacing outdated paper and fax systems with a scalable, error-reducing solution used across all 50 U.S. states.
- • Work within an agile development environment that incorporates Test-Driven Development (TDD) and flexible pair programming to ensure code quality and team collaboration.
- • Collaborate closely with product and design teams to shape application features, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with user needs and business objectives.
- • Lead key technical decisions regarding application architecture, data model design, and system scalability to support millions of patients and healthcare providers.
- • Maintain stable, performant, and reliable application stacks with a focus on system availability and operational excellence.
- • Consistently deliver high-quality, production-grade code that directly supports critical business goals in healthcare logistics.
- • Demonstrate deep understanding of software engineering principles, including data structures, design patterns, and clean code practices.
- • Provide technical leadership by mentoring junior engineers, guiding team direction, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- • Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical system incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and proactive enhancements to system reliability and uptime.
- • Contribute to a remote-first culture with a dedicated NYC office and access to co-working space reimbursement to support flexible work arrangements.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a production environment with Ruby on Rails or other open source languages (e.g., Python, Go, Node.js)
- • Staff-level engineering experience including technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring engineers
- • Must reside in the U.S.
