📋 Description

• As a Staff Software Engineer at Basis Global Technologies, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining the core software platform that powers digital media operations for agencies and brands, enabling seamless planning, reporting, and financial reconciliation across multiple channels.
• Day to day, you will architect scalable backend systems, write clean and efficient code, collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions, mentor junior engineers, and ensure system reliability and performance through testing and optimization.
• You will join a passionate and innovative engineering team at a company dedicated to inclusivity, professional growth, and building cutting-edge ad tech solutions that drive meaningful change in the digital media landscape.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in distributed systems and cloud-native architecture, lead technical initiatives that impact product strategy, and grow into a trusted technical leader shaping the future of Basis’s platform.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong proficiency in backend development
• Expertise in designing and scaling distributed systems, microservices, and APIs using modern frameworks
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go, and experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
