đź“‹ Description
- • As a Staff Software Engineer at Interra Health (formed from the merger of DoseSpot, Arrive Health, and pVerify), you will play a critical role in advancing the Arrive Health Network platform—a core component of Interra Health’s ecosystem that powers real-time prescription decision-making and cost transparency at the point of care, directly impacting how providers and patients navigate the prescription journey with greater clarity and affordability.
- • You will lead the design and development of scalable, high-impact full stack systems used by providers and care teams to deliver more accessible and affordable treatment options, combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership to own complex initiatives, shape architecture, and drive cross-team collaboration to ensure platform reliability and integrity at scale.
- • You will architect and deliver complex greenfield projects used directly by providers and clinical staff, partner with engineering and product leadership on planning and execution, maintain and evolve backend systems used by internal clinical and operational teams, and integrate with electronic health records (EHRs) and external partner APIs to enable seamless prescription workflows.
- • You will contribute to platform and infrastructure efforts in partnership with Platform Engineering (leveraging AWS, Terraform, and Docker), ensure system interoperability, scalability, and long-term maintainability across services, troubleshoot and resolve production issues (including on-call rotations), and mentor engineers to elevate technical standards across teams.
- • You will own and drive company-wide technical initiatives spanning multiple teams and systems, develop deep expertise in the healthcare and prescription coverage domain to inform architectural decisions, maintain and extend existing systems using Agile practices (TDD, pair programming, radically collaborative development), and identify cross-cutting problems to proactively sponsor solutions such as shared services, tooling, and architecture improvements.
- • You will initiate and lead collaborative efforts across team and functional boundaries—particularly with Product—to solve shared problems and deliver on company-wide goals, influence technical direction through strong judgment (not just execution), serve as a go-to resource for problem solving and technical context, facilitate cross-team collaboration to unblock complex and ambiguous challenges, and establish, evolve, and uphold engineering standards, documentation, and team norms based on experience and team feedback.
- • You will ensure internal tools and developer workflows stay aligned with modern best practices (including agentic AI workflows), collaborate closely with other lead engineers and product management on planning and execution in a remote-first environment, and operate with a bias toward ownership, action, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, evolving setting with shifting priorities.
- • You will work in a fully remote role within the United States with approximately 5% periodic travel for team meetings, customer visits, and industry events, operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, PE-backed SaaS environment that requires cross-functional collaboration across Product, Sales, and Customer Success to reduce friction, improve access, and make the healthcare experience better for everyone.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of software development experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- • Strong experience building and scaling full stack applications in production environments
- • Proficiency in one or more backend languages/frameworks (Kotlin/Spring, Ruby on Rails, or similar)
- • Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React or similar)
- • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS), containerization (Docker), and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- • Solid working knowledge of SQL and data modeling
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully remote role within the United States
- • Opportunity to work on mission-driven healthcare technology that improves prescription access and affordability
- • Periodic travel (approximately 5%) for team meetings, customer visits, and industry events
- • Exposure to modern tech stack including AWS, Terraform, Docker, React, and AI/ML tools
- • Collaborative, remote-first environment with strong emphasis on technical leadership and mentorship
- • Backed by strong market momentum and a bold vision for the future of connected care
