📋 Description

• • Staff Software Engineer role focused on building the next-generation network data plane for Confluent Cloud to achieve 10x current scale, enabling real-time data streaming at enterprise levels.
• • Design, develop, and operationalize high-performance, scalable, reliable, and resilient systems for the network data plane platform across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• • Independently drive execution of ambiguously scoped cross-team software projects, ensuring delivery of complex initiatives in production with quality focus.
• • Work across engineering, security, product, and platform organizations to deliver networking building blocks that empower seamless integration for product teams.
• • About the team: The Traffic team manages the network platform of Confluent Cloud with emphasis on performance, security, reliability, and cost optimization for all traffic ingressing/egressing customer Kafka and DSP deployments and internal service-to-service traffic.
