📋 Description

• • Own the end-to-end design and delivery of core product features that power AI-driven dental billing workflows for thousands of practices nationwide, turning complex insurance rules into elegant, automated experiences.
• • Architect scalable, HIPAA-compliant cloud infrastructure on AWS—designing VPCs, IAM policies, RDS clusters, Lambda functions, and CI/CD pipelines that keep patient data safe while supporting 10× growth in claims volume.
• • Build resilient integrations with 50+ dental insurance carriers and practice-management systems (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) using REST, SFTP, and HL7; normalize messy carrier formats into clean, queryable data models in Postgres.
• • Write clean, type-safe code across the stack: Node.js micro-services in TypeScript, React/Next.js frontends, and SQL schemas optimized for sub-second analytics on millions of claims; champion automated testing, code reviews, and trunk-based development.
• • Partner daily with our in-house dental-billing experts to shadow their workflows, identify pain points, and ship features that cut manual work by 30–50 %—from AI claim-status scrapers to smart appeal-letter generators.
• • Tackle ambiguous, first-of-kind problems: How do we predict claim denials before submission? How do we auto-match EOB pdfs to ledger entries? You’ll prototype, measure, and iterate with a high degree of autonomy.
• • Shape engineering culture as an early technical leader: define coding standards, mentor junior engineers, run architecture guilds, and introduce best practices in observability, security, and performance.
• • Participate in customer calls, user-testing sessions, and quarterly onsite visits to dental practices—seeing firsthand how your code improves the lives of front-desk staff, dentists, and patients.
• • Contribute to open-source projects and internal libraries that the broader healthcare-tech community can adopt, reinforcing Wisdom’s reputation as a thought leader in dental AI.
• • Balance speed and quality in a fast-moving, Series-A environment where every release directly impacts revenue and customer NPS; celebrate wins, learn from failures, and continuously raise the bar.
