Staff Software Engineer

📋 Description

• • As a Staff Software Engineer on Workato's Engine team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining the core systems that power recipe execution, including DSL, event processing, webhook handling, and job execution—directly enabling businesses to streamline operations through seamless data and application connectivity.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include building and troubleshooting complex heterogeneous applications in Go and Ruby, improving the execution engine for third-party code, writing efficient and testable code, integrating data storage solutions (Postgres, S3, DynamoDB, Kafka, ClickHouse), participating in the full development lifecycle, conducting code reviews, providing technical leadership, evaluating system improvements, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, and helping maintain code quality and automation—with opportunities to explore emerging technologies like Rust and WebAssembly.
