Staff Software Engineer

📋 Description

• • As a Staff Software Engineer on Workato's Engine team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining the core recipe execution engine that powers Workato's enterprise automation platform, enabling businesses to connect data, processes, and applications at scale.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities include building and extending complex heterogeneous applications in Ruby and GoLang, improving the execution engine for custom third-party code, integrating with diverse data storage solutions (Postgres, S3, DynamoDB, Kafka, ClickHouse), writing testable and efficient code, conducting code reviews, providing technical leadership, collaborating across teams, evaluating system improvements, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, and helping maintain code quality and automation—with potential exploration into Rust and WebAssembly.
