- • As a Staff Software Engineer, Agents at Harvey AI Inc., you will build the systems that make AI agents indispensable to legal professionals, directly contributing to transforming how legal and professional services operate through frontier agentic AI.
- • Day to day, you will partner with customers and product managers to understand legal workflows, design practical evaluations for agent excellence, optimize agent performance via prompt engineering and model selection, work with model infrastructure teams on low-latency execution, and improve observability to profile and enhance agent behavior.

🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years (post-BS/MS) of software engineering experience
- • Proficiency in Python and experience working with LLM APIs and agent frameworks
- • Experience with shipping user-facing products, either on the backend or full-stack
- • Passion for building effective domain-specific agents
- • Iterative mindset: developing proof of concepts, making decisions quickly, and shipping v0s
- • Comfortable with when and how to use evaluations to drive quality
