Staff Software Engineer, Core Experience (Backend)

📋 Description

• • As a Staff Software Engineer on the Core Experience team at Hims & Hers, you will play a critical technical leadership role in building the backend systems that power patient acquisition, engagement, and care delivery—including checkout, payments, prescriptions, identity, and health data.
• • You will influence the design and architecture of scalable, high-performance full-stack solutions, drive architectural improvements across multiple squads, and eliminate technical debt by introducing shared tooling, frameworks, and reusable components.
• • Day to day, you will provide technical mentorship, conduct code reviews, participate in product discovery, implement observability practices, analyze performance metrics, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless system integration and alignment with long-term product strategy.
