- • As a Staff Software Engineer for ezCater’s Customer Service technology stack, you will lead the design and implementation of a modern, AI-enabled tech stack that integrates with Salesforce Service Cloud to transform the customer experience from order creation to delivery.
- • You will take a lead role in developing the technical architecture and roadmap for customer service transformation, building architectural standards and best practices, setting technical strategy for Salesforce integration, and balancing quality and speed on company-level priorities.
- • You will serve as a visionary leader by mentoring and coaching technical leaders, raising the bar for software quality and architecture, and contributing to an inclusive and transparent engineering culture.
- • You will collaborate with Principal Engineers, Product, Customer Service, and Operations stakeholders to drive alignment and establish future technical vision while reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager in the Product Engineering organization.
- • You will have the opportunity to grow your impact by shaping ezCater’s engineering standards, influencing cross-functional initiatives, and working on high-impact projects that scale food-for-work solutions for over 100,000 restaurant partners nationwide.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of professional development experience with a focus on backend technologies and building services using Go
- • Proven expertise building APIs using GraphQL and REST
- • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) and ability to integrate them into daily workflows to accelerate delivery and improve code quality
- • Demonstrated success integrating with customer service software including Salesforce Service Cloud, Zendesk, HubSpot, and experience with contact center tooling like Twilio and Amazon Connect
- • Experience designing backend systems for Salesforce integration, including understanding of Apex callouts, External Services, Platform Events, and Data Cloud ingestion
- • Experience establishing technical vision with Staff and Principal Engineers and driving alignment with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to quality documentation
- • Eagerness to give and receive feedback in a collaborative learning environment
- • Ability to travel up to 5 days per quarter for team gatherings and events
