  • • Own the architecture and evolution of the healthcare data warehouse platform, designing systems for storage, transformation, governance, and access of clinical datasets.
  • • Build scalable, secure, and compliant data infrastructure to support ingestion, processing, and organization of complex healthcare information into trusted data assets.
  • • Design and implement clinical data models within a scalable warehouse solution, ensuring alignment with healthcare-specific data standards and lifecycle requirements.
  • • Develop data optimization strategies that balance performance, scalability, and maintainability for large-scale clinical and reimbursement datasets.
  • • Establish and enforce data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, consistency, security, and auditability across all data assets.
  • • Enable downstream analytics and AI-driven applications by building infrastructure that supports reporting, evidence generation, and machine learning workloads.
  • • Lead cross-functional technical initiatives in partnership with engineering, analytics, and product teams to align platform capabilities with business priorities.
  • • Improve platform observability and reliability through the development of monitoring, alerting, and operational tooling to ensure trust in critical data systems.
  • • Architect zero-trust PHI (Protected Health Information) security models to meet healthcare regulatory requirements and data privacy standards.
  • • Design systems that support both operational and analytical workloads, ensuring seamless integration between real-time and batch data processing pipelines.
  • • Drive technology selection and long-term platform strategy for the data warehouse ecosystem, influencing engineering standards across the organization.
  • • Maintain ownership of critical infrastructure in a high-growth environment, balancing short-term execution with long-term scalability and maintainability.
  • • Collaborate with teams to implement metadata management systems and data access patterns that enhance usability and reduce redundancy across the organization.
  • • Contribute to the development of ingestion frameworks and orchestration systems that automate and standardize data flows from diverse healthcare sources.
  • • Ensure all data platform components adhere to HIPAA and other healthcare compliance regulations through proactive design and implementation of controls.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 8+ years building distributed software systems or large-scale data platforms
  • • Experience in healthcare, health tech, or regulated data environments
  • • Experience architecting modern cloud-based data warehouse solutions
  • • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, or similar backend languages
  • • Proven track record in implementing zero trust PHI architectures
  • • Track record of leading technical initiatives spanning multiple teams
