Staff Software Engineer, Engineering AI Team

📋 Description

• • As a Staff Software Engineer on the Engineering AI Team, you will accelerate platform development and real-world experimentation by owning full engineering loops from concept to delivery, acting as a builder, experiment owner, and technical reality check to ensure AI-driven tools solve actual engineering pain points.
• • Day to day, you will design and ship core platform infrastructure, drive end-to-end rapid experiments, leverage AI coding agents to write and review code, maintain high-quality AI development loops, and operate autonomously to take ambiguous problems from 0 to 1 with minimal handoff.
• • You will join a small, fast-moving team at Second Nature Health Inc. focused on transforming the software development lifecycle using AI-driven agentic workflows, remote coding agents, and workflow orchestration, where the team dogfoods its own platform and integrates AI across all development and support processes.
• • In this role, you will master AI-native engineering practices, ship high-impact code rapidly, set quality standards for an opinionated codebase, drive measurable improvements in developer velocity, and act as a force multiplier by elevating team execution through end-to-end ownership and pragmatic technical planning.
