📋 Description
- • As a Staff Software Engineer - Full Stack (Golang) at Bestow, you will play a critical role in building and scaling the core infrastructure that powers the life insurance industry’s digital transformation, enabling faster product launches and improved agent experiences.
- • You will develop core services using Golang and PostgreSQL, resolve issues with existing features, write unit and integration tests, conduct peer code reviews, ensure software security and maintainability, and collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to drive feature delivery and continuous improvement.
- • You will join the Pre-Sales module team, which owns agent-facing quote and illustration tools, working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where quality and velocity are essential, and partnering with product, design, and upstream engineering to shape the roadmap.
- • You will have the opportunity to influence technical strategy, champion AI-augmented engineering practices, mentor peers, and grow your expertise in distributed systems, API design, and full-stack development while contributing to a mission-driven company transforming a legacy industry.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of professional software development experience (full stack)
- • Professional experience with Golang (Go) is preferred
- • Experience with modern frontend technologies including React and Typescript
- • Experience with distributed systems or microservices
- • Experience designing APIs (Protocol Buffers, RAML, Swagger, OpenAPI, etc.)
- • Advocate for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
