Staff Software Engineer, Issues (Remote Canada)

📋 Description

• • As a Staff Software Engineer on the Issues team at Optro, you will lead the design and delivery of large-scale, strategic projects that power the company’s audit, risk, ESG, and InfoSec platform used by over 50% of the Fortune 500. This role is critical to maintaining Optro’s position as a market leader and fastest-growing tech company in North America.
• • Day to day, you will build and ship product features end-to-end, write clear design documentation, mentor fellow engineers, lead architecture decisions, troubleshoot and resolve bugs, implement back-end APIs in Node.js, work on the Ember SPA front-end, collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in Agile development, write maintainable and testable code, and contribute to open-source projects while keeping the customer at the center of your work.
