This is a unique opportunity to leverage your extensive experience in API management, DevOps, AIOps, and FinOps, and apply it to the cutting edge of Agentic AI and Event-Driven Architectures. As a pivotal member of our sales engineering team, you will be instrumental in guiding customers through complex technical landscapes, ensuring they understand and maximize the value of Kong's innovative platform.
• • In this strategic role, you will go beyond traditional sales support. You will own the technical narrative for our clients, acting as their trusted advisor from the initial stages of product exploration through to successful production deployment. Your expertise will be crucial in demonstrating how Kong's platform seamlessly integrates with critical technologies such as Kafka streams, advanced AI orchestration tools, and diverse hybrid-cloud environments. You will be the technical bridge, translating customer challenges into tangible solutions powered by Kong.
• • Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of activities designed to foster customer success and drive technical adoption. You will actively support field sales teams by articulating the profound value proposition of Kong's API and Connectivity Management platform. This involves deeply understanding customer requirements, identifying pain points, and expertly mapping these to the capabilities of the Kong platform. Building and nurturing trusted client relationships throughout the entire sales lifecycle will be paramount, ensuring a consistent and positive technical experience.
• • A key aspect of your role will be to lead and support Proofs of Concept (PoCs), guiding customers through the evaluation process with technical acumen and strategic insight. Your commitment to achieving 100% customer satisfaction across your assigned accounts will be a driving force. This will involve proactively prioritizing customer needs and orchestrating effective collaboration with our support, product, and engineering teams to deliver timely and effective solutions.
• • You will also play a vital role in knowledge dissemination and community engagement. This includes creating comprehensive technical documentation for DevOps practices, implementation guides, and services engagements. Furthermore, you will contribute to top-of-funnel marketing efforts by developing engaging content such as blogs, participating in webinars, and representing Kong at industry trade shows and field events. Your insights and expertise will help shape the conversation around API and AI connectivity.
