- • As a Staff Solutions Engineer at Kong Inc., you will be at the forefront of empowering the world's connections by leveraging our cutting-edge API and AI Connectivity Management platform. This pivotal role involves deeply understanding customer needs and translating them into tangible solutions, ensuring they realize the full value of Kong's offerings.
- • You will act as a trusted technical advisor to our clients, guiding them through the entire sales lifecycle. This includes conducting in-depth product reviews, architecting solutions that align with their strategic objectives, and supporting them through Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and Proofs of Value (PoVs) to demonstrate the platform's capabilities and impact.
- • A core aspect of your responsibility will be to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. You will proactively identify and prioritize customer needs, acting as a crucial liaison between our clients and our internal teams, including Support, Product, and Engineering. Your ability to effectively coordinate and advocate for customer requirements will be key to fostering long-term, successful partnerships.
- • You will play a significant role in shaping our technical narrative by creating comprehensive technical documentation. This documentation will cover a range of topics, including DevOps best practices, implementation guides, and service engagement details, empowering our customers and internal teams with the knowledge needed for successful deployment and operation.
- • Beyond direct customer engagement, you will contribute to our top-of-funnel marketing efforts. This involves developing engaging content such as blog posts and webinars, and actively participating in industry trade shows and field events to showcase Kong's thought leadership and innovative solutions.
- • You will be instrumental in helping customers understand the immense value proposition of the Kong API and AI Connectivity Management platform. This requires a deep technical understanding of our product suite and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to a diverse audience, ranging from technical practitioners to executive leadership.
- • Your role extends to fostering strong, trusted client relationships throughout the entire sales journey. From the initial product discussions to ensuring successful adoption in production environments, you will be a constant point of contact and a reliable resource for our customers.
- • You will be responsible for supporting Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and Proofs of Value (PoVs), meticulously guiding customers through the evaluation process. This involves designing and executing tailored demonstrations that highlight how Kong's platform can address their specific challenges and unlock new opportunities.
- • Ensuring 100% customer satisfaction across your assigned accounts is paramount. This requires a proactive and customer-centric approach, anticipating potential issues and working diligently to resolve them.
- • You will be adept at prioritizing customer needs, acting as a central point of coordination. This involves seamlessly collaborating with our support, product management, and engineering teams to ensure that customer requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
- • The creation of high-quality technical documentation is a key deliverable. This includes developing resources for DevOps professionals, detailed implementation guides, and documentation for professional services engagements, thereby enhancing the overall customer experience and product adoption.
- • You will also contribute to our broader marketing initiatives by creating compelling content for blogs and webinars, and by representing Kong at industry events, trade shows, and field activities, thereby driving brand awareness and lead generation.
