  • • As a Staff Technical Account Manager at Illumio, you will serve as the trusted advisor and primary liaison for strategic enterprise customers, ensuring they achieve their Zero Trust security goals through expert guidance, proactive issue resolution, and deep product advocacy—directly contributing to organizational resilience against ransomware and cyber breaches.
  • • You will establish and nurture long-term relationships with C-suite executives, CIOs, CTOs, and IT directors, aligning Illumio’s solutions with clients’ strategic business objectives while driving platform adoption, standardization, and measurable ROI across hybrid multi-cloud environments.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities include leading project coordination and architectural guidance for complex security initiatives, conducting health checks, documenting best practices, and translating customer feedback into actionable product insights for Illumio’s engineering and product teams.
  • • You will act as a customer advocate internally, escalating and resolving technical and business issues swiftly, while proactively identifying risks and recommending mitigations based on extensive experience with enterprise security deployments and Zero Trust frameworks.
  • • You will collect, analyze, and report key account metrics and project health indicators, using data to illustrate progress, forecast needs, and support executive-level business reviews with both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success, you will help shape product roadmaps and ensure Illumio’s solutions evolve to meet real-world enterprise challenges in cybersecurity and compliance.
  • • You will travel approximately 30% of the time for on-site customer visits, training sessions, and industry conferences, maintaining a home-office base while engaging directly with clients across the U.S. East Coast and beyond.

  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in Zero Trust architecture, enterprise security integration, and customer success strategy, positioning yourself as a strategic influencer capable of driving both technical outcomes and business transformation at the highest levels.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5-10 years of experience supporting SaaS enterprise software, with a proven track record in technical account management, customer success, or solutions engineering within cybersecurity or adjacent technology domains.
  • • Solid technical background in advanced security, including hands-on experience with firewalls, Zero Trust architecture, data center infrastructure, operating systems, system administration, or technical architecture; preferred certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty) are a strong plus.
  • • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences ranging from security practitioners to C-suite executives.
