đź“‹ Description
- • As a Staff Technical Program Manager at Sentry, you will drive strategic execution for the Platform org, partnering with senior engineering leaders to translate priorities into clear, measurable plans and ensure reliable visibility into progress and tradeoffs.
- • You will build data-driven delivery health by establishing metrics and dashboards that reflect delivery confidence, risk, and engineering health across the Platform org, keeping planning and reporting high-signal and lightweight.
- • You will manage capacity, dependencies, and risk by creating visibility into resourcing and cross-team constraints, surfacing risks early, and driving tradeoffs to keep complex initiatives on track.
- • You will work directly with the CTO and senior leaders, shaping how the Platform org operates and helping Sentry scale through a critical chapter of its growth.
- • You will thrive in technically complex, cross-functional work, turning ambiguity into operating clarity with strong rhythms, sharp plans, and measurable outcomes.
- • You will bring a strong point of view to rooms full of senior engineers and leaders, appreciating why platform and infrastructure challenges are strategic, not just operational.
- • You will build structure and operating cadence in ambiguous environments, creating sustainable processes that teams adopt and maintain.
- • You will communicate effectively with both executive and engineering audiences, producing high-signal reporting and engaging in deep technical discussions.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of Technical Program Management experience at a high-growth technology company
- • Direct exposure to platform, infrastructure, SRE, or security engineering organizations
- • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs spanning engineering, product, and business functions in a matrixed organization
- • Experience defining or improving incident management, on-call processes, or operational reliability programs
- • Strong analytical instincts: building systems to track delivery health and using data to drive decisions
- • Demonstrated ability to build structure and operating cadence in environments where neither existed
- • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for senior/executive audiences and deep engineering collaboration
🏖️ Benefits
- • Base salary range of $200,000 to $240,000
- • Eligibility for Sentry’s employee benefit plans/programs including incentive compensation and equity grants
- • Access to paid time off and group health insurance coverage
- • Opportunity to work on Sentry’s AI-native future as part of its application monitoring standard
- • Participation in an open-source company committed to making software and the industry accessible
- • Commitment to equal employment opportunities and reasonable accommodations for disabilities
