- • Own and evolve the structured business cadence for engineering and product teams, including QBRs, roadmaps, and capacity planning to ensure operational transparency and executive visibility.
- • Orchestrate collaborative processes to define, scope, and commit to high-level technical initiatives across multiple engineering teams, ensuring alignment with company-wide strategic objectives.
- • Define, monitor, and disseminate KPIs and operational health metrics for the entire engineering department, translating technical performance into executive-level insights and decision-making inputs.
- • Streamline and standardize program management frameworks, templates, and communication protocols across global engineering teams to improve velocity and reduce friction in execution.
- • Lead complex, high-impact technical programs with cross-functional dependencies, ensuring timely delivery, risk mitigation, and alignment with product and business goals.
- • Drive operational excellence by identifying bottlenecks in engineering workflows and implementing scalable solutions that enhance predictability and delivery consistency.
- • Serve as a trusted advisor to engineering and product leadership, providing data-driven recommendations to optimize resource allocation, timeline forecasting, and prioritization.
- • Facilitate cross-team alignment on technical dependencies, ensuring smooth integration of initiatives across infrastructure, product, and data teams.
- • Maintain visibility into software development lifecycles, architecture decisions, and resource constraints to effectively coordinate large-scale technical programs.
- • Champion consistent use of project management tools (e.g., Linear, Jira, Asana) across teams to improve tracking, reporting, and accountability for technical initiatives.
- • Support the integration of AI/LLM-driven initiatives by understanding technical requirements, data pipelines, and model deployment workflows within the product ecosystem.
- • Act as a change agent in evolving program management practices, introducing best practices in Agile, Scrum, and hybrid methodologies tailored to the organization’s scale and complexity.
- • Manage risk, conflict, and change across distributed teams, ensuring smooth transitions during organizational shifts or technical pivots.
- • Synthesize technical and business inputs into clear, actionable reports for senior leadership, bridging the gap between engineering execution and strategic decision-making.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in technical program management with a focus on software development or infrastructure
- • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex roadmaps in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- • Technical fluency to comprehend software architecture, development lifecycles, and resource dependencies
- • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- • Experience with project management tools such as Linear, Jira, or Asana
- • Technical background (e.g., former engineer or technical degree)
