  • • Join Serve Robotics, a pioneering company revolutionizing urban mobility with our personable sidewalk robots, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of robotic deliveries. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Technical Program Manager to drive our cutting-edge autonomy initiatives. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization that is transforming how goods move in cities, making deliveries more accessible, efficient, and environmentally friendly.
  • • As a Staff Technical Program Manager, you will be instrumental in defining, planning, and executing complex autonomy projects. Your responsibilities will span the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept and scope definition through to successful deployment and iteration. You will be the central orchestrator, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment across diverse, high-performing teams.
  • • Your core mission will involve meticulously defining project scope, establishing clear timelines, identifying critical milestones, allocating resources effectively, and developing robust risk mitigation strategies. This will encompass a wide array of critical autonomy domains, including end-to-end autonomy model development, the intricate data infrastructure required to support it, sophisticated simulation environments, advanced machine learning algorithms, precise mapping technologies, and the development of efficient operational processes.
  • • You will lead and coordinate the multifaceted efforts of various engineering disciplines, including software, hardware, and AI/ML teams. Furthermore, you will foster strong partnerships with product managers, operations teams responsible for real-world deployment and scaling, and key business stakeholders to ensure that our technical endeavors are tightly aligned with strategic objectives and market needs.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will be to actively gather detailed requirements from all relevant parties, meticulously align priorities to maximize impact, and communicate project status updates with exceptional clarity and consistency. This ensures that all stakeholders are informed, engaged, and working towards common goals.
  • • You will be tasked with developing and implementing innovative processes that streamline workflows, enhance team efficiency, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This includes helping teams set up and execute agile sprints, enabling them to effectively prioritize tasks, track progress, and deliver value iteratively.
  • • A crucial part of your contribution will be to analyze existing processes, identify bottlenecks and areas ripe for optimization, and implement improvements that drive greater productivity and predictability. You will also coordinate broad communication efforts, ensuring that information flows freely and effectively across all teams, maintaining transparency and fostering a cohesive working environment.
  • • To maintain transparency and accountability, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation. This includes detailed technical specifications, well-structured project plans, and regular status reports that provide a clear and accurate picture of project health and progress.
  • • This role also extends to hardware and manufacturing projects, where you will apply the same rigorous program management discipline. This includes overseeing mechanical part design, development, and testing; PCBA and cabling design, development, and testing; and the implementation of robust manufacturing practices. Your oversight will ensure that the physical components of our robots are developed to the highest standards, meeting performance, reliability, and cost targets.
  • • You will leverage your deep technical understanding to articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience, ranging from highly technical engineers to non-technical business leaders. Your ability to translate intricate technical details into understandable insights will be critical for gaining buy-in and driving alignment across the organization.
  • • By effectively managing complex, cross-functional projects, you will directly contribute to shipping impactful product features that enhance the capabilities and reliability of our autonomous robot fleet, solidifying Serve Robotics' position as a leader in the industry.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of robotics and AI, solving challenging real-world problems and making a tangible impact on the future of urban logistics. You will be part of a dynamic, diverse, and driven team of industry veterans committed to building a better future.
