- • As the Startups Marketing Lead at Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry), you will own and scale the startup marketing program from the ground up, turning existing initiatives into a growth engine that positions Sentry as the default monitoring choice for new companies shipping code.
- • Day to day, you will build and scale startup partnerships with accelerators, incubators, and VC platforms; own the startup acquisition funnel from free plan to paid expansion; represent Sentry at founder events and demo days; create founder-focused content and campaigns; evolve the startup credits and onboarding experience; and measure program impact using revenue-connected KPIs.
- • You will join a team at Sentry, a trusted application monitoring platform used by 100,000+ organizations, working across Growth, Product Marketing, and DevEx with real autonomy to shape strategy and execute quickly in a mission-driven, developer-first culture.
- • In this role, you will learn how to build and scale developer-focused growth programs from zero, deepen your expertise in startup ecosystems and partnerships, and achieve measurable impact by connecting marketing activity to revenue outcomes in a high-impact, fast-moving environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4–7 years in marketing, growth, or partnerships with significant experience working with or inside early-stage startups
- • Experience building programs from scratch, not just inheriting and optimizing existing ones
- • Track record of working across growth, brand, community, and partnerships (not limited to one lane)
- • Familiarity with the developer tools or B2B SaaS ecosystem
- • Experience managing partner relationships with accelerators, VCs, or deal platforms and delivering real results
