- • Manage multiple steel construction projects from initial planning through final closeout, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
- • Coordinate all phases of fabricated steel and metal system projects, including procurement, fabrication, on-site installation, and documentation.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, subcontractors, fabricators, and field crews to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, track progress against milestones, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays.
- • Monitor project budgets, review cost estimates, and control expenditures to prevent overruns while maintaining material and labor efficiency.
- • Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company protocols; conduct regular site safety inspections.
- • Review and approve shop drawings, fabrication plans, and installation specifications to verify accuracy and adherence to engineering requirements.
- • Conduct regular site visits to project locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic region to oversee progress, resolve field issues, and verify work quality.
- • Prepare and submit project reports, including progress updates, change orders, and closeout documentation, to internal leadership and clients.
- • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to clarify technical specifications and resolve design conflicts prior to fabrication.
- • Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships, including bid evaluation, contract administration, and performance tracking.
- • Maintain accurate project documentation, including permits, inspection records, change orders, and as-built drawings.
- • Respond to client inquiries and address concerns promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction and project retention.
- • Adapt to fluctuating project demands, including occasional Saturday work and extended hours during critical phases or deadlines.
- • Travel periodically to project sites across the Mid-Atlantic region as required by project schedules and site conditions.
- • Ensure all projects meet quality control benchmarks and pass final inspections without rework or delays.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 5 years of experience managing steel construction or metal fabrication projects
- • Proven track record in coordinating fabrication, delivery, and installation of structural steel systems
- • Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and cost control practices
- • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites throughout the Mid-Atlantic region
- • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and construction site compliance protocols
- • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, or similar)

- • Starting annual salary of $65,000, with higher compensation based on experience

- • Monday–Friday core schedule (7:00 AM–4:00 PM) with occasional Saturday work as needed
