Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own and expand a portfolio of named strategic accounts across North America, acting as the single-threaded executive sponsor and trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders inside Fortune 1000 enterprises and high-growth digital natives.
- • Drive complex, multi-year deals that routinely exceed $1 M ARR by orchestrating cross-functional teams of solution engineers, customer success architects, legal, finance, and partner channel managers—ensuring every touch-point reinforces Ping Identity’s vision of frictionless, Zero-Trust security.
- • Translate customers’ digital-transformation roadmaps into measurable identity-security outcomes, mapping Ping’s platform capabilities (federated SSO, MFA, risk-based authentication, API security, privacy & consent management, and decentralized identity) to line-of-business KPIs such as fraud reduction, user-conversion lift, and compliance cost avoidance.
- • Build and refresh executive-level account plans that quantify whitespace opportunity, competitive threats, political landscape, and mutual success metrics; present these plans quarterly to Ping’s Chief Revenue Officer and secure executive air-cover for strategic initiatives.
- • Lead consultative discovery workshops that uncover latent pain around workforce, consumer, and partner identity use-cases; craft bespoke value propositions and ROI models that resonate with CIO, CISO, CMO, and Chief Digital Officer personas.
- • Negotiate enterprise license agreements, subscription renewals, and expansion amendments—balancing standard corporate terms with creative commercial constructs (volume ramps, ramp-down options, co-marketing funds, and success-based pricing) that accelerate signature velocity.
- • Champion the voice of the customer inside Ping, feeding real-time insights to product management, engineering, and marketing to influence roadmap priorities, packaging, and thought-leadership content.
- • Establish and nurture a multi-layer relationship map within each account—from VP to individual contributor—leveraging executive briefings, advisory boards, user-group events, and executive escalation protocols to create “stickiness” beyond the initial transaction.
- • Collaborate with global systems integrators (GSIs), regional VARs, and cloud marketplace partners to co-sell and co-deliver joint solutions, ensuring partner-sourced pipeline contributes at least 30 % of quarterly bookings.
- • Maintain pristine hygiene in Salesforce, Clari, and Tableau dashboards; forecast bookings within 5 % accuracy and provide weekly deal-inspection narratives that enable executive decision-making on discounting, legal exceptions, and resource allocation.
- • Mentor junior account executives and sales development reps through deal coaching, call shadowing, and win/loss retrospectives, cultivating a culture of continuous learning and ethical selling.
- • Stay ahead of emerging identity standards (OAuth 2.1, FIDO2, OpenID Connect, Verifiable Credentials) and regulatory shifts (GDPR, CCPA, PSD2, HIPAA) to position Ping as the future-proof choice amid rapidly evolving threat and compliance landscapes.
- • Travel up to 35 % for high-impact customer meetings, industry conferences, and partner summits, while maintaining a remote-first work style that respects personal autonomy and family commitments.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience with consistent quota attainment above $1 M ARR and proven ability to close seven-figure, multi-year subscription or usage-based contracts.
- • Deep fluency in identity and access management (IAM), cybersecurity, or adjacent cloud-infrastructure markets; ability to whiteboard architectures involving SAML, OIDC, SCIM, and API gateways.
- • Demonstrated success selling to Fortune 1000 enterprises via both direct and channel routes, with evidence of partner co-sell motions and global systems integrator alliances.
- • Executive presence and storytelling skills that resonate with C-suite audiences; comfort presenting to boards, CIO councils, and security steering committees.
- • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field; MBA or relevant cloud-security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP) strongly preferred.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Remote-first culture with quarterly travel stipend and co-working space allowance so you can design the workday that fuels your best performance.
- • Uncapped commission plan with accelerators above 100 % quota and equity refresh grants that align your wealth creation with Ping’s long-term growth.
- • Annual $5,000 professional-development fund for certifications, conferences, and executive education, plus 20 days PTO and a company-wide week off in July for true recharge.
