This pivotal role is responsible for driving net new logo acquisition and expanding existing business through upsell opportunities within an assigned territory. As a field-based position, you will be instrumental in shaping the success of Ping Identity's intelligent, cloud identity platform, which empowers businesses and users with secure and seamless digital experiences. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, leveraging a robust internal resource model, a comprehensive technology stack, and a global partner ecosystem to achieve and exceed your sales targets. - • In this strategic role, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline generation to negotiation and closing complex deals. You will be tasked with developing, implementing, and meticulously measuring a personalized sales plan that aligns with and drives the achievement of regional sales objectives. A key aspect of your role will involve deeply understanding customer needs and effectively positioning Ping Identity's value proposition to maximize business opportunities and demonstrate the tangible benefits of our solutions. You will engage in sophisticated negotiations to close complex contracts, often requiring collaboration with global partners to ensure comprehensive solutions for our clients. Regular and accurate reporting of sales activities and forecasts to senior management will be crucial for strategic planning and performance tracking. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing indicative subscription pricing and crafting compelling customer offers, which may include evaluating broader opportunities such as training and professional services modules. You will also play a vital role in guiding and responding to requests for proposals (RFPs), ensuring that Ping Identity's capabilities are clearly and effectively communicated. A critical function of this role is to act as a conduit for customer feedback, relaying valuable insights to our marketing, customer success, product management, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation. You will proactively work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to acquire additional or specialist resources as needed, ensuring that every customer engagement is supported by the right expertise.
