- • As a Strategic Account Executive, your day-to-day responsibilities will be multifaceted and centered around achieving ambitious sales targets. You will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive personal sales plan, meticulously aligned with the broader regional sales strategy, to ensure consistent achievement of performance goals. A key aspect of your role will involve deeply understanding and articulating Ping Identity's compelling value proposition to prospective and existing clients, thereby maximizing the business opportunities within your territory. You will navigate complex sales cycles, negotiating and closing intricate contracts with the crucial support of our global partner ecosystem. Regular reporting of sales activities, pipeline status, and accurate forecasts to senior management will be essential for strategic decision-making. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing indicative subscription pricing and crafting tailored customer offers, which may include evaluating broader opportunities such as training and professional services modules, and guiding the response to requests for proposals (RFPs). A vital part of your contribution will be to channel customer feedback effectively to our marketing, customer success, product management, and engineering teams, ensuring our offerings continuously evolve to meet market demands. You will also collaborate proactively with internal teams to secure additional or specialist resources whenever necessary to support client engagements and drive successful outcomes.

It is designed for individuals who are results-oriented and possess a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas within the enterprise software market. A sustainable record of signing strategic and large projects, characterized by long and complex sales cycles, is a key indicator of success in this role. You will need to demonstrate established C-level contacts within relevant sectors and a successful history of engaging with strategic buyers. A deep understanding of the industry's key drivers of change is essential, as is experience working collaboratively with regional, national, and global partners and system integrators. Prior training and practical experience in value selling and account planning methodologies will be highly beneficial. The ability to effectively position and articulate Ping Identity's value proposition to diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to executive leadership, is paramount. You will be expected to manage your territory autonomously, driving pipeline generation and closing deals to meet and exceed your assigned quotas.
