- • As a Strategic Account Executive at Twilio Inc., you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of communications for our largest and most critical enterprise clients. This remote-based role, situated in Australia, empowers you to lead and nurture relationships with key customers who rely on Twilio's robust messaging, voice, and email services.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to safeguard and expand Twilio's communications business within your assigned portfolio, focusing specifically on the NEA market. This involves driving highly analytical and consultative sales cycles with sophisticated clients operating at scale. These customers often manage global, competitively sourced, and compliance-heavy businesses with unique, use-case-specific requirements.
- • Success in this role hinges on your ability to build deep, collaborative partnerships across various internal Twilio teams, including product management, finance, support, and operations. You will act as a central point of contact, orchestrating resources and insights to deliver exceptional value and drive mutual growth.
- • You will be tasked with managing and growing some of Twilio's most significant customer accounts, which include high-growth technology, logistics, and fintech companies. This requires a strategic approach to understanding their evolving needs and aligning Twilio's solutions to support their business objectives.
- • A core component of this role is the development, execution, and continuous refinement of account strategies. These strategies must be designed to consistently achieve strong revenue, gross margin, and gross profit results, demonstrating a clear return on investment for our clients and for Twilio.
- • You will actively partner with other Twilio teams to proactively identify and capitalize on new revenue opportunities within your existing account base. This collaborative effort ensures a holistic approach to account management and maximizes the potential for expansion.
- • Serving as a key member of a cross-functional account team, you will collaborate with representatives from product, finance, support, and services. This integrated approach ensures that all aspects of the customer relationship are managed effectively and that customer needs are met comprehensively.
- • You will be responsible for maintaining a disciplined and accurate sales forecast, consistently achieving your targets, and providing insightful guidance to executive management. This requires strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to pipeline management.
- • The role demands running highly consultative sales cycles with our largest customers. This involves deep discovery processes, active listening to understand customer needs, and effectively championing their perspectives and requirements within Twilio.
- • You will leverage data to inform your account development strategies, identifying opportunities and quantifying the value Twilio delivers. This analytical approach is crucial for building compelling business cases and demonstrating ROI.
- • You will be expected to manage business forecasts and financial models with a high degree of accuracy and foresight.
- • An entrepreneurial mindset is essential, as you will be instrumental in defining new processes and building programs to enhance account management and sales effectiveness.
- • You will need to demonstrate a proven track record of developing, growing, and delivering significant revenue and gross profit results, particularly for large-scale and enterprise customers, with a focus on the Asia region.
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are paramount for effectively engaging with clients and internal stakeholders.
- • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience will be considered, reflecting Twilio's commitment to valuing diverse experiences and career paths.
