  • • Ping Identity is seeking a driven and experienced Strategic Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. This pivotal field-based role is instrumental in driving growth within the Federal Government & Defence sector in the Canberra region, focusing on acquiring new logos and expanding existing accounts. You will be at the forefront of delivering secure and seamless digital experiences to critical government entities, ensuring their digital freedom without compromise. By leveraging Ping Identity's intelligent, cloud identity platform, you will empower these organizations to manage identities effectively, enabling secure online interactions for their users.
  • • As a Strategic Account Executive, your day-to-day responsibilities will be multifaceted and centered around achieving ambitious sales targets. You will be tasked with developing, implementing, and rigorously measuring a personalized sales plan that directly aligns with the overarching regional sales strategy. A key aspect of your role will involve deeply understanding and articulating Ping Identity's unique value proposition to potential and existing clients, demonstrating how our solutions address their specific cybersecurity and identity management challenges. This requires a nuanced approach to positioning our offerings, highlighting the benefits of our robust technology stack and global partner ecosystem. You will be responsible for navigating complex sales cycles, negotiating and closing intricate contracts, often with the support of our global partners and internal specialists. A significant part of your role will involve meticulous reporting of sales activities and accurate forecasting to senior management, ensuring transparency and strategic alignment. Furthermore, you will prepare indicative subscription pricing and craft compelling customer offers, which may include identifying opportunities for additional services such as training and professional services modules. You will also play a crucial role in guiding responses to requests for proposals (RFPs), ensuring that Ping Identity's capabilities are clearly and effectively communicated. Providing essential customer feedback to our marketing, customer success, product management, and engineering teams is also a critical function, ensuring our product development and service delivery remain aligned with market needs and customer expectations. You will proactively work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to acquire additional or specialist resources as needed to ensure customer success and drive deal closure.
