- • As a Strategic Account Executive for Auth0 at Okta, you will be at the forefront of driving growth and securing critical digital identities for a portfolio of strategic accounts. This pivotal role demands a highly motivated, self-driven, and experienced sales professional with a profound passion for security and a commitment to protecting organizations against the most significant identity threats. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of identity management for our clients, focusing on delivering exceptional value to Application Development teams, including Engineering, Product, Security, and Architecture.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets, contributing to the year-over-year growth of your assigned territory. This involves developing and executing comprehensive account strategies designed to generate a robust pipeline, drive sales opportunities, and deliver predictable and repeatable bookings. You will be empowered to identify, target, and gain access to key leaders and decision-makers within prospect accounts, meticulously building and cultivating your network to foster strong, lasting relationships.
- • The role requires a strategic approach to both net-new logo acquisition and the expansion of existing Auth0 customer relationships. You will be adept at scoping, negotiating, and closing complex enterprise SaaS agreements, ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes and Okta's strategic objectives. A key aspect of your success will be your ability to holistically embrace, access, and leverage Okta's partner ecosystem to identify and open new opportunities, amplifying your reach and impact.
- • Collaboration is paramount. You will build and nurture effective working partnerships within the broader Okta ecosystem, including Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Partners, Presales Engineers, and Customer First teams. This cross-functional synergy is essential for delivering a seamless and value-driven experience to our customers and prospects.
- • To foster strong relationships and drive business, you will be expected to travel as necessary to meet with customers and prospects, understanding their unique challenges and demonstrating how Auth0's innovative identity solutions can address them. This includes in-person onboarding during your first week at either our San Francisco, CA or Chicago, IL office, ensuring a solid foundation for your success.
- • You will act as a trusted advisor, evangelizing, educating, and creating demand within the CTO organization and among key technical stakeholders. Your ability to connect technical solutions to tangible business outcomes will be a critical differentiator. This involves deep technical discovery skills that resonate with the developer community, enabling you to articulate the value proposition of Auth0's platform effectively.
- • Success in this role means not only meeting quotas but also becoming a subject matter expert in identity security, understanding the evolving threat landscape, and positioning Auth0 as the indispensable solution for modern application security and user management. You will be a key contributor to Okta's mission of freeing everyone to safely use any technology, anywhere, on any device or app, by ensuring our customers' digital identities are secure and their applications are protected.
- • You will be responsible for building a strategic plan to guide your long-term approach to net new logo pipeline generation, ensuring a sustainable and scalable growth model. This proactive planning, combined with your execution capabilities, will be crucial for consistent territory expansion and revenue achievement.
