- • As a Strategic Account Executive for Auth0 at Okta, Inc., you will be at the forefront of driving growth and securing critical digital identities for a diverse range of clients. This pivotal role involves spearheading sales efforts within your assigned territory, focusing on both acquiring new enterprise customers (net new logos) and nurturing existing relationships to expand business opportunities. You will operate within a dynamic and collaborative ecosystem, leveraging the full suite of Okta's identity solutions to address complex security challenges faced by application development teams, including Engineering, Product, Security, and Architecture.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan aimed at consistently generating qualified pipeline and achieving ambitious revenue targets. This requires a strategic mindset, enabling you to identify, target, and engage with key decision-makers and influencers within prospect organizations. You will be instrumental in building and expanding your network of contacts, understanding their unique business needs, and articulating the value proposition of Auth0's platform.
- • The role demands a proactive approach to identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities. You will be responsible for scoping complex enterprise SaaS deals, negotiating terms, and ensuring successful contract closures that meet or exceed revenue quotas. A key aspect of this role is the ability to connect technical solutions to tangible business outcomes, demonstrating how Auth0 can enhance security, streamline user access, and drive business growth for clients.
- • Collaboration is central to success in this position. You will work closely with internal Okta teams, including Field Development Representatives (xDRs), Presales Engineers, Customer First teams, and a robust partner network. Effectively engaging and leveraging these resources will be crucial for identifying new opportunities, supporting the sales cycle, and ensuring customer success.
- • You will be expected to travel as necessary to foster strong relationships with customers and prospects, attend industry events, and participate in team meetings. This role requires a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, particularly in the realm of identity and access management, and the ability to evangelize these solutions to technical audiences.
- • A significant part of your role will involve educating and creating demand within CTO organizations and other technical leadership. This requires strong technical discovery skills, the ability to conduct compelling presentations, and a proven track record of pitching and closing deals with Product, Engineering, and Architecture decision-makers. You must possess the technical acumen to translate complex technical features into clear business benefits.
