  • • As a Strategic Account Executive for Auth0 at Okta, you will be at the forefront of the identity security revolution, driving significant revenue growth within a defined territory. This pivotal role involves identifying and securing new enterprise clients (net new logos) while also nurturing and expanding relationships with existing Auth0 customers. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of digital identity for businesses by providing Okta's cutting-edge identity platform, which secures billions of logins annually for consumer and SaaS applications.
  • • Your primary focus will be on engaging with Application Development teams, including Engineering, Product, Security, and Architecture leaders. You will need to develop a deep understanding of their challenges and articulate how Auth0's solutions can address critical identity threats, enhance security posture, and drive business outcomes. This requires a strategic approach to pipeline generation, account planning, and consistent execution to meet and exceed ambitious revenue targets.
  • • You will be responsible for building a comprehensive long-term strategy for net new logo pipeline generation. This involves meticulous market analysis, identifying target accounts, and developing tailored outreach strategies to gain access to key decision-makers. The ability to cultivate a robust network of contacts within prospect organizations will be crucial for success.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve understanding complex enterprise SaaS products and effectively communicating their value proposition. You will need to conduct deep technical discovery sessions that resonate with the developer community, demonstrating a strong technical acumen and the ability to translate technical features into tangible business benefits for clients.
  • • You will manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact and qualification through to negotiation and closing complex agreements. Success in this role is measured by your ability to consistently deliver predictable bookings and achieve year-over-year territory growth.
  • • Collaboration is key. You will work closely with a dedicated Okta ecosystem, including Sales Development Representatives (xDRs), Partners, Presales Engineers, and Customer First teams, to leverage collective strengths and open new opportunities. Building and maintaining strong, effective working partnerships within this internal network is essential for maximizing territory potential.
  • • The role also requires a proactive approach to utilizing channel partners to identify and develop new business opportunities. You will need to understand how to effectively engage and enable partners to support your sales efforts.
  • • Travel will be necessary to build and cultivate strong relationships with customers and prospects, fostering trust and understanding through in-person interactions. This role demands a highly motivated, self-driven individual with a passion for security and a proven track record of success in complex enterprise SaaS sales environments.
  • • You will be expected to embrace and master Okta's sales framework, MEDDPICC, to ensure a structured and effective approach to opportunity management and deal closure. Your ability to evangelize, educate, and create demand within the CTO organization, coupled with a strong track record of closing deals with Product, Engineering, and Architecture decision-makers, will be paramount.
  • • Ultimately, you will be a trusted advisor to your clients, helping them navigate the complexities of modern identity management and secure their digital transformation journeys. Your success will directly contribute to Okta's mission of enabling secure access for everyone, everywhere.
