  • • In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for expanding SpryPoint's footprint within the utility and local government sectors across your assigned territory. You will manage complex, long sales cycles, acting as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients. Your primary objective will be to articulate the strategic value of SpryPoint's comprehensive suite of solutions, including SpryCIS, SpryEngage, SpryMobile, and SpryWallet, which collectively modernize the entire meter-to-cash process.
  • • You will be instrumental in generating demand, driving SaaS bookings in alignment with corporate objectives, and delivering measurable outcomes for our clients. This position is ideal for a consultative sales professional who excels in collaborative environments, enjoys engaging with executive stakeholders, and possesses a proven ability to navigate intricate enterprise opportunities from initial prospecting through to successful closing.

  • • As a Strategic Account Executive, you will develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. You will build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts, understanding their business challenges and aligning SpryPoint's solutions to address them.
  • • You will conduct persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations, effectively communicating the value proposition and ROI of our SaaS platform. This includes identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, and forecasting accurately.
  • • Collaboration will be key; you will work closely with our marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer journey and to gather market intelligence that informs product development and sales strategies.
  • • The ideal candidate will be adept at negotiating complex contracts and closing deals with enterprise-level clients. You will also stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies within the utility and local government sectors to maintain your position as a knowledgeable advisor.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven track record of success in enterprise SaaS sales, specifically within the utility or local government sectors, with experience managing complex, long sales cycles.
  • • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders in large organizations.
  • • Deep understanding of the utility industry's operational challenges, technology landscape, and regulatory environment.
  • • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills, with a consultative approach to sales.
  • • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
