- • As a Strategic Enterprise Account Executive specializing in Financial Services, you will be at the forefront of Zip's expansion into the most significant global enterprises, targeting companies with revenues exceeding $7 billion. This is a pivotal, high-impact role that demands a consultative approach, deep understanding of the financial services industry, an innate hunter mentality, and a genuine passion for solving intricate procurement challenges. You will be instrumental in driving significant revenue growth and solidifying Zip's position as the go-to procurement platform for the world's largest financial institutions.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to own the entire sales cycle, from initial engagement to closing complex, multi-year deals. This involves building rapport and influencing C-level executives, including CIOs, CFOs, and Heads of Procurement, as well as navigating a diverse set of stakeholders across procurement, finance, IT, legal, and operations departments. You will need to master the art of understanding the unique pain points and strategic objectives of these large enterprises and effectively articulate how Zip provides a transformative solution.
- • While you will be supported by dedicated Business Development Representatives (BDRs) for initial lead generation and a robust marketing team, your role as a hunter is paramount. You will be expected to proactively prospect, leverage your existing network within the financial services sector, and identify new business opportunities to build and maintain a strong, high-quality sales pipeline. This requires a strategic approach to outreach, understanding the competitive landscape, and consistently demonstrating the value proposition of Zip.
- • You will act as a trusted strategic advisor to your prospects, delving deep into their current procurement challenges, inefficiencies, and cost-control initiatives. Your ability to position Zip not just as a software tool, but as a strategic enabler of efficiency, cost savings, and digital transformation will be key. This consultative selling approach requires a deep understanding of enterprise procurement workflows, common bottlenecks, and the potential for technological innovation to drive significant business outcomes.
- • The role involves solution-selling with a clear vision for the future.
