  • • As a Strategic Account Executive at Okta, you will be at the forefront of driving growth and securing the largest enterprise clients in the Minnesota territory. This pivotal role is designed for a highly motivated, self-driven, and experienced sales professional with a deep passion for cybersecurity and a proven ability to protect organizations from evolving identity threats.
  • • You will be instrumental in shaping and executing a long-term vision for net-new logo pipeline generation, consistently exceeding revenue targets to fuel year-over-year territory expansion. Your primary focus will be on identifying, developing, and executing sophisticated account strategies that not only generate a robust pipeline but also drive sales opportunities and deliver predictable, repeatable bookings.
  • • A key aspect of your role will involve identifying, targeting, and gaining access to key decision-makers and C-suite executives within prospect accounts. You will be responsible for building and cultivating a strong network of influencers and stakeholders, understanding their unique challenges, and positioning Okta's innovative identity solutions as critical enablers of their business security and growth objectives.
  • • You will be expected to expertly scope, negotiate, and close complex enterprise agreements, ensuring consistent achievement and surpassing of revenue quotas. This requires a strategic approach to deal management, a deep understanding of customer needs, and the ability to articulate the significant value Okta brings to large organizations.
  • • Embracing a collaborative approach, you will leverage Okta's extensive partner ecosystem, including Global System Integrators (GSIs) and other strategic partners, to identify and unlock new, often uncharted, business opportunities. Building and nurturing effective working relationships with internal Okta teams, such as Extended Sales Representatives (xDRs), Partners, Presales Engineers, and Customer First teams, will be crucial for success.
  • • A strong value-based sales methodology is paramount. You will consistently bring a compelling point of view to every customer interaction, educating them on the strategic importance of identity in today's threat landscape and demonstrating how Okta's platform can address their most pressing security and operational challenges.
  • • This role demands a proactive and agile mindset, requiring you to travel as necessary to build and cultivate strong, lasting relationships with both existing customers and prospective clients within your assigned territory.
  • • You will be responsible for driving both net-new customer acquisition and cultivating deeper relationships within existing Okta customer accounts, expanding the adoption of Okta's comprehensive identity solutions, including both the Okta Platform and Auth0 Platform.
  • • Success in this role means becoming a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, guiding them on how to build the most secure and efficient digital environments for their workforces. You will be a champion for Okta's mission to make identity the foundation of business security and growth, contributing significantly to the company's overall success and market leadership.
  • • You will be expected to maintain high activity standards, including daily prospecting, consistent pipeline growth, rigorous prospect qualification, and the unwavering delivery of assigned monthly sales revenue targets.
