- • Own the full sales cycle for Mistral AI’s most strategic accounts across the Netherlands, acting as the single-threaded owner who turns high-potential prospects into multi-year, multi-million-euro partnerships.
- • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of expansion opportunities within existing enterprise logos and green-field Fortune 500 prospects, leveraging both outbound prospecting and warm inbound interest generated by Mistral’s market-leading open-source reputation.
- • Orchestrate complex, multi-stakeholder sales motions that include C-suite executives, heads of AI & innovation, data-science leaders, legal, procurement, and security teams—translating technical capabilities into measurable business value and securing long-term commitment.
- • Lead tailored proof-of-concept engagements from scoping through success criteria definition, managing timelines, resource allocation, and executive communication to ensure pilots convert into production deployments at scale.
- • Negotiate and structure enterprise license agreements, usage-based contracts, and on-premises deployment deals that balance customer flexibility with Mistral’s growth and margin objectives, often involving multi-year commitments and seven-figure annual recurring revenue.
- • Serve as the voice of the Dutch market inside Mistral, distilling customer feedback on model performance, roadmap gaps, and competitive threats into actionable insights that directly influence product prioritization and go-to-market strategy.
- • Collaborate daily with Solutions Engineers, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance to craft bespoke commercial proposals, security documentation, and implementation roadmaps that accelerate procurement cycles and de-risk adoption.
- • Drive account-based marketing initiatives in partnership with the EMEA demand-gen team, co-creating executive roundtables, industry webinars, and customer case studies that position Mistral as the trusted AI transformation partner in the Netherlands.
- • Maintain meticulous CRM hygiene (Salesforce) to deliver accurate forecasting, transparent deal inspection, and data-driven coaching for junior reps as the Dutch team scales.
- • Champion Mistral’s open-source ethos and responsible-AI principles in every customer conversation, ensuring prospects understand how transparent, high-performance models can unlock innovation while maintaining data sovereignty and compliance.
- • Travel across the Netherlands (and occasionally to Paris HQ and European tech hubs) to foster in-person relationships, run on-site workshops, and attend industry events that elevate Mistral’s brand visibility and thought-leadership position.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of quota-carrying strategic or enterprise sales experience in fast-growing B2B technology companies, with a verifiable track record of closing seven-figure ARR deals.
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent strategic acumen strongly preferred.
- • Native or near-native fluency in Dutch and full professional proficiency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- • Demonstrated expertise selling complex, technical products—ideally AI/ML platforms, data infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS—through both cloud and on-premises deployment models.
- • Proven ability to navigate multi-threaded sales cycles involving technical evaluators, economic buyers, legal, procurement, and security stakeholders in large, matrixed organizations.
- • Deep familiarity with Dutch enterprise landscape, regulatory environment (GDPR, AI Act), and cultural nuances that influence buying decisions.
