- • As a Strategic Account Executive - Northeast at Zip, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s expansion into large global enterprises with $7B+ in annual revenue, directly contributing to Zip’s mission of simplifying enterprise procurement through its AI-powered platform. This high-impact, consultative sales position is critical to Zip’s growth trajectory as it scales its category-defining solution used by industry leaders like OpenAI, Snowflake, and JPMorgan Chase.
- • You will own the full sales cycle, engaging C-level executives and influencing cross-functional stakeholders across procurement, finance, IT, legal, and operations to navigate complex, multi-month deal cycles. Your day-to-day will involve proactive prospecting, leveraging your network and marketing/BDR support to build a robust pipeline of net-new logos in large organizations, while acting as a trusted strategic advisor who understands deep enterprise procurement challenges and positions Zip as a transformational solution for efficiency, cost control, and digital transformation.
- • You will solution-sell with vision, demonstrating Zip’s immediate operational impact while aligning its capabilities with customers’ long-term technology and process modernization goals. As an early sales leader in a hyper-growth startup backed by $370M in funding from top-tier investors including Tiger Global and Y Combinator, you will help shape Zip’s sales strategy, refine sales processes, and contribute to building a high-performance team culture rooted in ownership, innovation, and an underdog mindset.
- • You will leverage best-in-class sales technologies such as Salesforce, Clari, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach to optimize outreach, forecast accurately, and manage pipeline velocity. This role offers the opportunity to grow alongside a world-class team drawn from innovators at Airbnb, Meta, Stripe, Salesforce, Apple, and Google, while making a measurable impact on how some of the world’s most advanced companies manage billions in annual spend.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in enterprise SaaS sales at the highest level, mastering complex stakeholder management and consensus-building across global enterprises. You will achieve significant career milestones by closing seven-figure deals, influencing Zip’s go-to-market strategy, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor in the evolving procurement technology landscape—positioning you for continued leadership in high-velocity, mission-driven sales environments.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of SaaS sales experience with a proven track record of closing complex enterprise deals
- • Experience selling to procurement, finance, legal, IT, operations, supply chain, or manufacturing teams in large organizations
- • Demonstrated success acquiring net-new logos in companies with 10,000+ employees
- • Skilled in managing long, complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and executive-level consensus building
- • Self-motivated, proactive, and ownership-driven with exceptional communication and organizational abilities
- • Proficiency with Salesforce, Clari, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach for pipeline and forecast management
