- • Join AuditBoard, a rapidly expanding leader in the audit, risk, ESG, and InfoSec platform market, as a Strategic Account Executive for the West region. With over $300M in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and a client roster including more than 50% of the Fortune 500, AuditBoard is revolutionizing how large organizations manage critical business functions. Our award-winning platform is celebrated for its innovation and customer satisfaction, consistently earning top ratings on G2.com and Gartner Peer Insights. This is an exceptional opportunity to drive significant growth within our most influential, high-revenue accounts, targeting those with $15B+ in revenue, and to contribute to the strategic direction of a company recognized by Deloitte as one of the 500 fastest-growing tech companies in North America for six consecutive years.
- • In this pivotal role, you will be entrusted with managing and expanding relationships with a dedicated territory of named strategic accounts. These accounts represent both our most valuable existing clients and significant new business prospects. You will be instrumental in fostering long-term partnerships and driving substantial revenue growth by understanding and addressing the complex needs of these enterprise-level organizations. Your success will be measured by your ability to deepen AuditBoard's footprint within these accounts and secure new logos that meet our strategic growth objectives.
- • You will operate at the forefront of our sales strategy, engaging in both new business acquisition and high-touch expansion opportunities (cross-sell and upsell) within your assigned territory. This dual focus requires a sophisticated approach to account management and sales execution, ensuring that our strategic clients are not only retained but also empowered to leverage the full breadth of AuditBoard's multi-pillar platform to achieve their evolving business objectives. Your ability to craft and execute tailored sales motions will be critical to your success and the success of our clients.
- • A key aspect of this role involves developing and executing comprehensive, multi-year account plans and territory strategies. These plans will be designed to strategically position AuditBoard's integrated platform across multiple business units and engage a diverse range of economic buyers. You will need to demonstrate a deep understanding of our clients' strategic priorities, including their challenges and opportunities in areas like audit, risk management, ESG compliance, and information security. By aligning AuditBoard's solutions with these priorities, you will become a trusted advisor, guiding clients toward greater clarity and agility in their operations.
- • You will be responsible for building and nurturing trusted relationships with C-suite executives and other key decision-makers. This includes engaging with Chief Compliance Officers (CCOs), Chief Audit Executives (CAEs), Chief Financial Officers (CFOs), Chief Information Officers (CIOs), Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), Executive Vice Presidents (EVPs), and Senior Vice Presidents (SVPs). Your ability to deeply understand their unique business challenges and articulate how AuditBoard's platform provides tangible value and competitive differentiation will be paramount. This involves identifying prospective customers' pain points, educating them on AuditBoard's value proposition, and effectively demonstrating the product's capabilities through compelling presentations and tailored demos.
- • The role demands a consultative sales approach, where you will co-create solutions and business cases that resonate with various stakeholders across the client organization. This collaborative process will empower internal champions to advocate for and drive the adoption of AuditBoard within their companies. You will work hand-in-hand with internal teams, including Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Product Solutions Specialists (SEs), Value Architects, Implementation, and Customer Success teams, to ensure a seamless and successful client journey from initial engagement through to ongoing value realization and expansion.
- • Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in developing and leveraging our partner ecosystem, particularly with leading firms such as the Big 4 accounting firms and specialized boutique consultancies. These partnerships are vital for augmenting our business development efforts, expanding our reach, and providing comprehensive solutions to our strategic clients. Your ability to navigate complex SaaS deals, articulate product differentiators, engage multiple stakeholders, and effectively position AuditBoard against competitors will be essential for closing deals ranging from $100k to $1M+ ARR.
- • This position requires a proactive and ambitious sales professional who can consistently build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities. You will be expected to execute full-cycle sales processes, from territory planning and pipeline generation to opportunity progression and closing. The role involves approximately 25%-30% travel, which will include client and partner meetings, as well as attendance at industry events and conferences. You will be a key contributor to AuditBoard's continued rapid growth, driving significant revenue and shaping the future of enterprise risk and compliance management.
🎯 Requirements

- • Proven track record of consistently exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas, with a demonstrated ability to achieve targets in the range of $1.3M-$1.7M+ ARR.
- • Strong experience managing and closing complex deal sizes ranging from $100k to $1M+ ARR, with a deep understanding of enterprise buying processes and stakeholder dynamics.
- • Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate complex SaaS sales cycles, articulate product value propositions, engage multiple stakeholders effectively, and position solutions against competitors.
- • Experience leveraging cross-functional teams (e.g., Customer Success, Solution Engineering, Renewals) to drive customer satisfaction and expansion within large enterprise accounts.
- • Strong executive presence and the ability to build trusted relationships at the C-suite level.
- • Experience within regulated industries and navigating legal negotiations is a significant plus.
- • Proficiency in utilizing sales methodologies such as MEDDICC/MEDDPICC for deal qualification.
- • Adaptable and possessing a growth mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement and a drive for knowledge and team success.
- • Excellent listening, responsiveness, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
