- • The Strategic Account Manager (Business Development Manager) will own, develop, and execute a strategic plan with Convergint in the West Region, based in California, to drive growth and success for the partner within the Motorola Solutions ecosystem.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include building executive-level relationships with Convergint leadership, increasing strategic partner spend, designing and updating quarterly business plans, educating West region teams on product engagement, identifying key end-users, managing sales pipelines, providing product training, and delivering year-over-year growth.
- • The role sits within Motorola Solutions’ mission-critical communications, software, video, and services division, where technologies are deployed to protect people, property, and places across schools, hospitals, transportation, and critical infrastructure.
- • The person in this role will develop deep expertise in strategic partner management, channel sales execution, and security solutions ecosystems, while contributing to Motorola Solutions’ vision of building safer communities through technology and collaboration.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of sales experience in video security and channel, OR 4+ years of sales experience in video security and channel
- • 5+ years of video security solutions sales experience
- • 2+ years of managing National Accounts
- • Experience working with channel strategies and initiatives
- • Strong technical acumen and ability to speak about Motorola Solutions’ products and solutions
- • Ability to accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
