- • Strategic Finance professional at Raspberry AI will own and evolve the company's financial and commercial infrastructure during a critical growth phase post-Series A, directly impacting how the business scales and makes money by bridging high-level strategy with day-to-day financial execution.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include owning budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes; building and maintaining operating models to guide leadership decisions; analyzing performance vs. plan and providing actionable insights; supporting board and investor reporting; developing and refining pricing models and packaging strategies; partnering with Sales on complex deals to support pricing, structuring, and negotiation posture; evaluating deal economics beyond margin, including strategic value, expansion potential, and risk; acting as a thought partner on 'go/no-go' decisions for key opportunities; supporting RevOps infrastructure including CRM hygiene, deal tracking, and reporting; owning commission calculations and partnering on comp plan design; overseeing payroll approvals and ensuring alignment with financial plans; helping build scalable systems and processes as the GTM org grows; managing external accounting partners for billing, collections, and monthly close; reviewing and ensuring accuracy of financial statements and reporting; improving processes around billing, collections, and revenue recognition; and building internal rigor around financial operations and controls.
- • Raspberry AI is a generative AI design platform for fashion brands and retailers, backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Khosla Ventures, and Greycroft, with enterprise traction across leading global brands, currently scaling its financial and operational foundation to support the next phase of growth after a successful Series A.
- • In this role, the individual will develop deep expertise in strategic finance within a high-growth AI startup, gain ownership over pricing and deal strategy in a SaaS/usage-based model, build scalable financial systems and processes, influence commercial decisions at the executive level, and position themselves for advancement into a Head of Finance or VP Finance role as the company scales.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5–8+ years of experience in investment banking, strategic finance, or corporate development, plus startup experience
- • Experience at a Series A–C technology company, with AI experience considered a strong plus
- • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including experience owning FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting in a high-growth environment
- • Exposure to pricing strategy and deal support in a SaaS or usage-based model
- • Comfortable operating across both strategic and operational finance, including managing external vendors (accounting, billing, etc.) and demonstrating high ownership mindset with comfort in ambiguity and evolving scope
