📋 Description

• Build and maintain financial dashboards and reporting systems to provide leadership with real-time visibility into revenue, burn rate, unit economics, and key operating metrics
• Own end-to-end financial planning and analysis including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and headcount modeling to guide strategic decision-making
• Support fundraising efforts and investor relations by developing data-driven analysis, pitch decks, and financial modeling materials for Series B to growth-stage financing
• Lead analysis for strategic transactions including M&A, partnerships, and capital allocation decisions with rigorous financial modeling and due diligence
• Design and scale the financial infrastructure required to support rapid company growth from early-stage to enterprise operations
• Spearhead high-priority, ambiguous business operations projects such as pricing strategy development, new market entry analysis, partnership evaluation, and sales compensation design
• Build operational systems, workflows, and playbooks from scratch to scale core business functions and eliminate inefficiencies
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to embed financial and analytical rigor into business decisions
• Lead procurement processes, vendor evaluation, and cost optimization initiatives across the company to maximize operational efficiency
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve operational bottlenecks before they impact performance or scalability
• Communicate complex financial insights and operational recommendations in clear, actionable formats tailored to founders and executive leadership
• Take full ownership of outcomes—whether building a board-level deck or chasing down a missing invoice—with no task deemed beneath the role
• Operate with incomplete information and make high-stakes decisions swiftly, balancing speed with precision
• Drive the creation of financial and operational frameworks that do not yet exist, setting the foundation for future teams
• Champion extreme ownership by stepping in to fix problems regardless of formal responsibility, adhering to the principle that if something needs fixing, you own it
• Uphold craftsmanship by delivering work of exceptional quality in every output, from financial models to internal documentation
• Operate with urgency and focus, prioritizing high-leverage activities that drive maximum impact in minimal time

🎯 Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or consulting, followed by experience at a high-growth technology company (Series A to D preferred)
• Extensive experience building complex financial models in Excel and Google Sheets
• Proficiency in SQL; Python or BI tools are a plus
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity, write playbooks from scratch, and operate without existing processes
• Strong judgment and prioritization skills to distinguish between what is important and what is urgent
• Exceptional communication skills to distill complexity into clear, actionable recommendations for founders and leadership
