- • As the Strategic Finance Lead for Product & Infrastructure at Eve Sleep plc, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our innovative legal technology company. This is a high-impact, hands-on position where you will serve as the critical financial liaison between our cutting-edge technical roadmap and our company's financial performance. You will be instrumental in driving strategic decision-making by providing deep financial analysis and insights that directly influence leadership's capital allocation and product pricing strategies.
- • Your primary focus will be to partner closely with our Research & Development (R&D) organization, offering comprehensive financial guidance and support. This includes meticulously analyzing the financial implications of our product development lifecycle, from initial concept to market launch. You will be responsible for understanding the cost drivers associated with our AI-driven solutions, evaluating the return on investment for new features and technologies, and ensuring that our R&D investments align with our overall business objectives and growth targets.
- • Beyond R&D, this role will also extend to providing crucial financial coverage for our General & Administrative (G&A) functions. This encompasses meticulous headcount planning, ensuring that our organizational structure is optimized for efficiency and scalability, and developing robust departmental budgets. You will work collaboratively with various G&A leaders to forecast expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure fiscal responsibility across all non-product development areas.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to analyze the gross margin impact of new AI features. This involves understanding the underlying costs of developing, deploying, and maintaining these advanced technologies, and translating that into tangible financial metrics. You will assess how these features affect our pricing models, revenue streams, and overall profitability, providing data-driven recommendations to maximize financial outcomes.
- • You will also be tasked with right-sizing our global G&A footprint. This requires a strategic perspective on our operational costs, including evaluating the efficiency of our global operations, identifying potential redundancies, and recommending strategies to optimize our cost structure without compromising our ability to scale and innovate.
- • This position demands a proactive and analytical mindset. You will be expected to go beyond simply tracking budgets; you will actively shape how we price our products, ensuring our pricing strategies are competitive, profitable, and aligned with the value we deliver to our customers. Your insights will be crucial in determining where we deploy capital, ensuring that our investments are directed towards initiatives that offer the greatest potential for growth and return.
- • You will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, and Operations, to gain a deep understanding of their needs, challenges, and strategic priorities. By fostering strong relationships, you will be able to provide tailored financial support and insights that are directly relevant to their work.
- • Responsibilities will include developing and maintaining financial models to support strategic initiatives, conducting ad-hoc financial analysis to answer critical business questions, and preparing financial reports and presentations for executive leadership. You will be a key contributor to our annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with our strategic goals.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SaaS business models, key financial metrics (e.g., ARR, LTV, CAC, Gross Margin), and the financial drivers specific to technology companies, particularly those leveraging AI. You will be adept at translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field. MBA or CPA is a plus.
- • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), strategic finance, or a similar analytical role, preferably within a technology or SaaS company.
- • Proven experience partnering with R&D, Product, or Engineering teams, with a strong understanding of software development lifecycle costs and SaaS unit economics.
- • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and presentation skills using tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
