- • Strategic Finance Manager, capex at Flock Safety Inc. is a critical role supporting supply chain and operations by driving financial modeling and data analysis for capital expenditure decisions, enabling smarter investment in hardware products and scaling the company’s financial infrastructure.
- • Day to day, the role involves improving inventory and forecasting models, analyzing capex spend drivers, providing insights for cost savings, collaborating with engineering and product teams on hardware-related financial planning, and owning end-to-end capex and inventory modeling to support demand planning and production decisions.
- • Flock Safety is a high-growth, mission-driven safety technology company with nearly $700M in funding and a $7.5B valuation, building a nationwide public-private safety network that connects law enforcement, businesses, schools, and communities through innovative hardware and software solutions.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in strategic finance for hardware companies, master advanced financial modeling tools like Pigment and Sigma, lead cross-functional financial initiatives, and directly impact cost efficiency and scalability of Flock’s product supply chain while growing as a trusted financial partner to operations and engineering leaders.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3-6 years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Investment Banking, Consulting, or a related business field
- • Expertise in financial modeling and quantitative analysis with ability to solve complex, unstructured problems
- • High proficiency in Google Sheets and experience with FP&A tools (Pigment) and data tools (Sigma)
- • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with proven project management abilities
- • Experience or knowledge of hardware products or prior work at a hardware company is a plus
