📋 Description
- • As a Strategic Operations Lead within the Office of the CEO at Pluralsight, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping and communicating the company's strategic narrative while ensuring the operational excellence of the executive team. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, this position is instrumental in translating high-level strategy into compelling, executive-ready content and facilitating seamless execution of key leadership initiatives.
- • You will serve as the primary "content engine" for the Chief of Staff, taking ownership of the creation and refinement of materials that support strategic decision-making and communication. Your work will directly impact how the company's vision and progress are understood internally and externally.
- • A core responsibility involves acting as the "bridge" between the Executive Office and cross-functional partners. You will ensure that the company's strategic direction is consistently and effectively communicated across all departments, fostering alignment and shared understanding.
- • You will be responsible for transforming complex strategic inputs, data, and spreadsheets into clear, visually engaging, and logically sound "stories" that resonate with executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
- • This role demands exceptional information design skills, enabling you to visualize complex hierarchies, processes, and data in a way that simplifies understanding and highlights key strategic messages.
- • You will lead the creation of professional, Board-ready slide decks, ensuring that even the most intricate information is presented with clarity and impact.
- • In partnership with the Chief of Staff and the Internal Communications team, you will draft scripts and talking points for critical leadership communications, including Town Halls, All-Hands meetings, and Keynotes. A key focus will be maintaining a consistent, authentic, and compelling "voice" for the leadership team.
- • You will be a key partner in executing critical leadership forums such as Executive Leadership Team (ELT) meetings, CEO Forums, and Town Halls. While the Chief of Staff will set the agenda and overall plan, you will be responsible for preparing all pre-read materials, managing the presentation flow, and ensuring the "run of show" is flawless.
- • During these high-stakes forums, you will provide crucial operational support, meticulously tracking action items and diligently following up with stakeholders to ensure that decisions made in meetings translate into tangible actions and outcomes.
- • You will conduct ad-hoc research, benchmarking, and data analysis to support the Strategy team and prepare the executive team for critical discussions. This analysis will often focus on emerging trends in technology, HR, and learning and development.
- • Proactive partnership with internal stakeholders across various functions is essential. You will gather necessary inputs, align on deliverables, and drive assignments to successful completion, demonstrating strong project management and collaboration skills.
- • A foundational requirement is a strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC). This knowledge will enable you to comprehend discussions around product roadmaps and translate technical context into a clear business narrative.
- • You must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to expertly manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfort with handling the logistics of high-pressure meetings is paramount.
- • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and absolute confidentiality is critical, as you will be working closely with C-suite leadership and handling sensitive company information.
- • Your ability to take complex strategic or technical details and distill them into simple, human-centric communications will be a key differentiator in this role.
- • This role is ideal for an individual who is not afraid to be themselves, experiment, learn from mistakes, ask questions, and voice concerns constructively. A self-aware, insightful, and proactive communication style is highly valued.
- • You will operate as a team member first, recognizing that high-performing teams are built on collective strength and mutual support. A commitment to continuous improvement and seeking frequent feedback is expected.
