- • As a Strategic Portfolio Account Executive at Paddle.com Market Limited, you will be at the forefront of managing and expanding relationships with our most valuable existing clients. This pivotal role focuses on driving growth within a designated portfolio of high-value accounts, ensuring they leverage the full potential of the Paddle platform to achieve their long-term business objectives.
- • You will act as the primary commercial owner for these strategic relationships, working closely with Customer Success Managers to ensure client health while independently driving expansion opportunities. Your mission is to deeply understand the strategic goals of our key AI and mobile app customers, identifying new avenues for growth, including new product launches, channel expansions, and cross-sell initiatives.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves acting as a strategic consultant to Product & Growth Leaders and C-suite stakeholders within these client organizations. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive account plans designed to maximize Net Revenue Retention (NRR), a critical metric for Paddle's sustained growth.
- • You will lead the entire sales cycle for introducing new features and closing complex, multi-faceted cross-sell deals. This requires seamless collaboration across both the customer's organization and internal Paddle teams, including Customer Success Managers (CSMs), Product Managers, Executive Leadership, and other key stakeholders, to identify and capitalize on mutually beneficial opportunities.
- • A core responsibility is building and nurturing executive-level relationships. You will move beyond day-to-day operational contacts to establish strong connections with key decision-makers such as CFOs, CTOs, and Founders. The goal is to position Paddle not just as a service provider, but as an indispensable strategic partner in their global growth trajectory. This will involve regular travel to customer sites and industry events to foster these relationships.
- • You will leverage data-driven insights to provide strategic guidance. Partnering closely with our Data and Customer Success teams, you will deliver impactful Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). These reviews will offer actionable recommendations to clients on optimizing their pricing strategies, checkout flows, and tax compliance, thereby enhancing their overall business performance and revenue.
- • Furthermore, you will serve as the crucial "voice of the customer" for our Product team. By actively gathering feedback on common expansion blockers, unmet needs, and feature requests from our largest and most strategic sellers, you will play a direct role in shaping Paddle's product roadmap and future development.
- • This role demands a proactive and entrepreneurial approach to account management, focusing on identifying and creating new revenue streams within the existing customer base. You will be expected to develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and the evolving needs of digital product companies, particularly within the AI and mobile app sectors.
- • Success in this position will be measured by your ability to consistently exceed NRR targets, expand Paddle's footprint within key accounts, and strengthen executive-level partnerships. You will be instrumental in ensuring our most important customers achieve their growth ambitions through the effective utilization of Paddle's comprehensive payment infrastructure.
