• • Zoetis Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Platform Lead to join our Technology and Digital Transformation (ZTD) Project Management Office (PMO). This pivotal role is responsible for defining and optimizing the utilization of Clarity, our newly implemented strategic portfolio and project management platform. You will be instrumental in enabling robust portfolio management, efficient project management, streamlined delivery execution, and effective value realization for a significant technology portfolio valued at $100 million.
• • As the Platform Lead, you will serve as a key technical and functional expert for the Clarity platform, ensuring it effectively supports the strategic objectives of the organization. Your expertise will directly impact the Head of Portfolio and Project Management, the SR&G Leadership team, the ZTD Leadership Team, Strategy & Operations Leads, ZTD portfolio leads, resource managers, and project managers across the company.
• • A core responsibility of this role involves close collaboration with the Portfolio Planning Lead to ensure seamless implementation of Clarity releases. You will take ownership of the platform's configuration, tailoring it to meet the intricate needs of portfolio, project, and product management, as well as financial and critical reporting requirements.
• • You will leverage your extensive experience to enhance our existing planning processes, strengthen portfolio governance, refine our delivery framework, and optimize project management methodologies. This includes contributing to annual planning cycles, improving project estimating accuracy, refining portfolio prioritization mechanisms, streamlining demand management, enhancing financial oversight, optimizing resource allocation, facilitating scenario modeling for strategic decision-making, and establishing robust value tracking capabilities.
• • A significant aspect of your role will be to address all enterprise-wide reporting needs. This includes the development and implementation of a self-service reporting capability, empowering stakeholders with timely and relevant data to drive informed decisions. You will be the primary technology application owner for the Clarity platform, ensuring it adheres to stringent security requirements, complies with all relevant guidelines, and meets established service level agreements (SLAs).
• • Your technical acumen will be crucial in managing the Clarity Platform, including planning and executing platform upgrades, troubleshooting performance and stability issues, and coordinating release management activities. You will be responsible for building custom reports using tools such as Jaspersoft, Power BI, and Tableau, and possess deep functional knowledge in areas like Roadmapping, Timesheet management, Resource, and Capacity Management.
• • Furthermore, you will be involved in the configuration and administration of the platform, encompassing user management, access controls, security roles, customizing objects, attributes, portlets, and dashboards, as well as setting up workflows, notifications, and approval processes. This hands-on technical responsibility ensures the platform remains robust, secure, and aligned with business needs.
• • The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 7+ years of experience in a portfolio management and/or PMO function. Extensive experience with the Clarity platform, including implementation experience, is highly preferred. You should have a strong understanding of portfolio, project, and product management functions, encompassing planning, financial management, resource management, project estimating, portfolio prioritization, demand management, scenario modeling, and value tracking.
• • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and TEAMS, is essential. Familiarity with the broader functioning of a PMO is also expected. You must demonstrate the ability to address unique reporting needs, present ideas clearly in a business-friendly manner, and possess proven skills in training and supporting a user community.
• • A strong customer service orientation, a can-do attitude, and the ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task, and execute in a fast-paced environment are critical. You will need to exhibit attention to detail while maintaining a view of the larger strategic picture. • • This is a US Remote position, with states considered being those in the Eastern Time (ET) or Central Time (CT) zones. The role requires less than 10% travel.
